Good day to you gentlemen.

This is not just aimed at 1st team player but I do realise the 2nd team have a game at Brightlingsea on the 7th of Nov.

Guys we need to train SERIOUSLY as a group TUESDAY the 3rd of November & SATURDAY the 7th of NOVEMBER 11-1.

We enter back to league action Vs Broadlands on the 14th of November, and as a group we need to work on the finer more technical parts of our game, for example :

i) Re starts - Wong and Ben jackson tooks Knocks on Saturday as we were naive at the restart and let them take the hit on their own.
ii) Backs moves - Jake has worked very hard to implement new backs moves. We need us ALL there to get the timings correct.
iii) back row moves
iv) defensive strategies

Guys we need to work on our team play as although we are top of the league, only 9 guys were at training on Tuesaday Night. I was absent also so I am part of the problem too and I hold my hands up. We cannot expect to win this league if we do not train. WE WILL BE FOUND OUT!!!
Practice only makes you a better player!!!!!

If you wish to be in a league winning side lets put some effort in. We changed training this year to once a week for a couple of hours on a Tuesday night. I completely understand if you have to work, Rugby is not gonna pay our bills lads, but just not bothering is not the attitude!!

If you are in the 1st , wanna be in the 1st team, were once there, or want to be there again then show your face 11am -1pm on Sat 7th Nov. Beers afterward for the international rugby. ( ENG VS NZ i belive)

After the 7th of Nov we have Broadlands at Home, Southwold in the cup, Mistley away ( who are the suprise package  in our league ) and then Ipswich YMCA.

That a tough run!!!!!!

Let's do it guys and come out the otherside of Xmas with our unbeaten record intact!!

You will only get out of this year what you put in!!!

TOGETHER AS A TEAM!!!

Great post Ryan.

I hope you saw in the write-up I mentioned many times from the restart that we did not pick the ball up, which would be terminal against teams like YMs and possibly Mistley, and as you say, Alex and Ben got rogered from the off as well.

However Ryan, you obviously do not look on the home page and navigate around the 2 miles of information, as it is England Australia on the 7th. Be good to have a good few guys up there to watch.
