5th April - Evil Reputation..............

We're looking forward to Saturday guys - no doubt the sight of 10 or so naked Kentish virgins running round your pitch while eating copious amounts of offal should ensure a packed house next Saturday night?????
Jimbo

Welcome to the forum, and we hope we have a great welcome for you next weekend.

As choir master I must extend my apologies for the fact that I am not around, which is a bummer really. I have even been working out for the last 5 months so I could get the boots on again.

Wasn't there a song about 10 Kentish Virgins?

Hope I can make it up to the club later in the day.

this is footscray's league not having a good season, just like us so it should be an enjoyable game
Footscray RUFC

'Tis true we're not having the best of years! Still we're likely to be the only club to finish the season on -2 points and not get relegated!!

It's been a couple of years since we have come across a singing club on tour - alas a dying art.......

Depending on who gets tour captain you might also discover the other thing we excel at......... being turophiles.......
Jimbo

Now I am feeling really bad. There is a time when we actually get a club coming along who like to sing and I can not be there. Man, what a real bummer.  Rolling Eyes

Nothing worse than spending an hour singing when 50% of the attendees can't be arsed and the other 49% are from Mars. After that, I can not be bothered to sing for another hour. In fact, most times after games i think I will just save my vocal chords. Gone are the days of 3 hours of song, fun and games after the game.  Crying or Very sad

I do like the -2 points though. Pretty cool that one. Cool  Did not turn a side out one day then? We had that this year too.

All the best for your tour.

-2 points followed a little disagreement last summer with local RFU where they were made to look prize prats after trying to relgate us from 5th place........ It cost us two of our best players who when we were initially relegated went to other sides. It was all sorted but they were seriously unhappy. Alas when a match card went in with the wrong unregistered player ticked they took enormous pleasure in docking 2 points and fining us. All this in a year when they the RFU has spent huge sums trying to get people to play rugby some bigger clubs would rather the smaller ones weren't there........

Should be a good weekend - a couple of our VPs are just coming up for the game and it's aftermath.
Jimbo

Sounds like the RFU.

VP's turning up to watch rugby and then join in the festivities, imagine  Rolling Eyes .

Still our best day in recent years was emptying the Norwich club Lakenham Hewitt until there was just their barman left. Quality day that one. I was accused of having had a "few beers" by that stage of the evening. I took offence to this pointing out that we had had four pints before we even got to their club. Bit wobbly by the end of the evening though, as we had to go to the local afterwards, as you do.

Just seen the weather forecast. Going to be cold and windy, which at our ground will mean it IS cold and it IS windy.

To be fair it was Kent RFU. They notified us of our relegation via the publication of the fixture lists. Nice touch. The RFU and London Division were 100% supportive of us.

Last two tours we were left alone in the oppo's clubhouse - Swansea Uplands where they buggered off in 30 mins flat so we took the opportunity to sing the songs that would normally get us a smack in Wales, and United Services in Portsmouth where part of the blame must lie with the particularly ripe Eppoisses de Bourgonne that was warmed up on the radiator during the game and forgotten about  Laughing .

Well, have to confess I had to research the cheese. (I knew it was a cheese but that was about it)

So for all you cheese buffs who knew from the start, this is for the likes of me.

Cheese Club
Eppoisses de Bourgogne
Washed rind cow’s milk
France

This month we have a single cheese that deserves to stand alone. Favored by Napoleon, who of course ate it with a fine Pinot Noir based Chambertin, it was also the favorite cheese of Porthos in the Three Musketeers. While it remained very popular into the 20th century, World War II knocked Eppoisses out of production entirely. In 1956, M. Berthout, maker of the example we have here, revived the style . It is rich, creamy, salty, sweet and sour all at once, not to mention very aromatic with strong suggestions of the barnyard. A washed rind cow’s milk cheese, it’s saline baths promote the growth of the orange mold on the exterior and lead to the pronounced smell. Final washings are done with Marc de Bourgogne a local brandy made of grape skins, pips and such left after the wine making process (like Italian grappa). Serve this cheese with rich Pinot Noir based wines or try dates, prunes, or other rich, dry fruits, and of course crusty bread. Russian Imperial stout with deep flavors that echo those of prunes and dates is also a great match.

So in good company there, Napolean and Porthos.

Must have smelt llike Fred Green's jock strap that he bought in one Saturday having forgotten to wash his kit. Shocked

That was a quick change for all, but not too good for the second row. Mind you, even with fresh kit, it was never too good to be up Fred's arse in the second row.   Laughing

Have to check the pictures out tonight.

Viewed the video.

Well, what are the sunglasses about? Definate on the chair for that one.

Funny how they manage to get to swinging tits and don't get past that bit. Another on the chair for that i feel.

Good stoical performance, especially the hot Lesbian action in the foreground.

Actually, a couple of facts. It turns out tha all (except Bowak (QEFTSG)) are lesbians at the club, so hopefully those two will be up at the weekend. This stems from the fact that i found out i was a lesbian when i discovered that Lesbian like to make love to women. We then figured out that all of us (except Queer Eye For The Straight Guy) were all Lesbians too.

Well, hope i get back from the smoke at a reasonable hour of the day. Might be worth the effort from the published perfomance.

By the way, was your fee higher as there are performing right ramifications on this you realise.
