Cup Semi finalGents.
The squad has been picked.
The game plan has been established.
The training has finished.
NOW THE FUN STARTS AND I MEAN FUN.
These days were why i played rugby. (A long time ago i hear some say.)
So now it is down to the squad ,coach and the supporters to join together and lift everyone of us to a level where the only question is how much are we going to win by?
So prepare properly.
1/ Alcohol on friday WILL reduce your performance on saturday get pissed after the game.
2/ Pasta on fri will IMPROVE your performance on saturday.
3/ An early night will help.
4/ A good NON greasy breakfast 3 to 4 hrs before the game will help.
5/ Eating 2hrs or closer to kick off will not help it is too close and will sit in your gut!
6/ Drink energy drinks/water continually from the time you wake up to kick off. Little and often.
7/ Motivate yourself.
8/ Focus on your job and how can i help the team?
9/ Warm up as you intend to start the game.
10/Listen to what you are asked to do.
11/Dont let yourself down.
Gents alot of stuff and quite serious, i know we are ametaurs but why not for once prepare like the pros?
LAST BUT NOT LEAST MAKE SAT A DAY WHERE YOU GIVE EVERYTHING TO ACHIEVE THE DESIRED RESULT.
NO REGRETS!!!!!!!!!
See you all sat
Andy.
