Forthcoming EventsIn the pipeline .........Valentine's Week - 'Sex Factor' - more karaoke for all you talented people. Like to see a few more of you in costumes next time though. Paddies Nite - Got an Irish Entertainer already lined up, 'cos it's impossible to get anyone nearer the time. However, it's most likely to be the Friday Nite and spilling over into 'The Day' itself, so get the rest in Thursday fellas if you're planning on a good evening prior to Saturday's match. Annual Presentation Dinner - Not going cheap on you, but how does a good buffet and a comedian sound this year? We'd still have tables laid out and everyone would help themselves to food, with a few hot dishes thrown in (roast spuds, samosas etc, etc). All the above are only ideas and any comments or suggestions (clean only please and those that don't involve fruit or animals will be taken seriously). Your Events (ha, ha) are only as good as the ideas and suggestions we come up with, so any help is really appreciated. Jac xx |

I don't think I have ever been referred to as a 'Hot Dish' but your p*ss taking was not wasted on me - thank you, I'm still blushing! 
On the other subject - Another Poker Nite was definitely on the cards. We don't have a lot happening in November and we were trying to slot one in then. If you could give me some idea of when might be a good nite and just how much support we would get for it, I'll see what I can do. A lot depends on availability of the Club itself, but we're always prepared to put something on if enough of you are interested. Please let me know the sort of numbers we would be talking x x Beaujolais Nite - how many of you might be interested in a Beaujolais Nouveau Nite? It would be the third Thursday in November and an excuse to quaff as much as you can stand (probably just one sip then) of this season's new red stuff and a bit o' cheese n bickies. Just another idea we were toying with, but if it's not your bag (man) or we don't have that many red wine drinkers in our 'flock' ......... What am I saying ?????! J x |
