Ipswich travelled to Haverhill fresh from their impressive demolition the previous weekend of league leaders Ely, and basically carried on from where they left off. With the first score taking place inside 90 seconds, the sense of foreboding in the crowd was measureable, as Ipswich took the Haverhill pack and backs apart with ease, putting 19 points on the board in the first 10 minutes.
Haverhill were putting up some good defensive effort, but a ball pushed out to the Haverhill 10 metre line was picked up by the Ipswich centre and before anyone knew it, he was under the posts for the fourth try of the day, making it 0-26 on 15 minutes.
Good individual efforts from Dave Golding, Adam Hunt and Michael Lansdowne could not disguise a side lacking the drill of the training field, so noticeable against the masterful display of Ipswich YM.
A further try on 31 minutes and another on the whistle of half time led Haverhill to the turn at 0-36.
Some lax defending 7 minutes in allowed the YM centre to score under the posts again for 0-43, and a drive over of the underpowered Haverhill scrum, missing many of their heavy powerhouses made the score 0-50 on 10 minutes. A rout was now fully expected, but some good defence and dogged determination by the team kept Ipswich out for 25 minutes, when the final try and conversion was made.
Haverhill has ITV following them at the moment. It would be good to use the footage of this defeat for a Hollywood blockbuster horror movie.

After much hard, painstaking research, various field trips and practical studies, I can offically confirm Jimbo is a lesbian.
