Haverhill lose to SwaffhamWell there are some who watched the game today who wonder where this headline comes from.
Well it comes from the fact that 10 of their players were still in the club at 7:30 in the evening, singing and drinking.
Bad news when the away team says "why do your club not join you when you sing?" Got to say, don't care in some ways and really do in others. We should be sociable to our guests I believe.
I hope we can arrange an away trip end of the year for a big enjoy day with the guys from Swaffham.
Will post "the win" later and the report as well.
Come on lads.

Hi Jim and Simon,
I agree with you strongly. I'm sory i had to dissapear at 6.30 but I had a wedding to attend in Newmarket.
Jim would it be possible to compile a list of song lyrics for the teams please? Possibly a boklet for us to learn?
Although I have been "knocking" around the club for longer than a decade I possibly could only deliver 3 or 4 songs.
We can involve the younger players including myself and get up to speed on the fabulous voacal performances you always put on.!

Everyone has a life outside Ryan, mind, that was a long drive at that time of day.
However, it is not about making a list of songs. There were people at the club Saturday who knew many songs but did not make the effort.
I have been in the club where I have specifically been asked to get a sing song going, and after 30 minutes of singing against many not interested people, then I give up.
And there are other times when someone starts and we sing for a few hours.
So song book I can do, but horses and water come to mind Raff.
