New PatioFor those who did not attend the AGM and who have not been up to the club for a month or so, you will be in for a huge surprise when you come up Saturday to support the boys in their warm-up game of the season.
We have a brand-spanking new patio that is, to be quite honest, going to do wonders for the club. Stretching between the container and the original concrete path the players run out on, and going from the club to the slope of the pitch, we now have a huge area for watching our teams play, without having to dress up like Nanook of the North, with wellies.
I am certain this will encourage people to come up and watch, and will be great for guest days when people do not come outside to watch, as they do not have some form of boot and aqualung required for watching, as before.
The committee are to be applauded for taking the step to spend a, not inconsiderable, amount of money on this.
Also Jake is to be applauded for a great job, and QEFTSG (Steve Bowak) for the design and execution of this project.
