Gents,
once again for your info, plans have been layed in place for the coming season with both sides having a full fixture programme, coaching has been strengthened, clubhouse is having long awaited patio being built and all in all everything is looking great....EXCEPT the players turning up for the pre season training to put into place what after last year was a major change round on the playing side that was down to the players turning up and learning and putting into practice and showing how capable they are as a team to go forward and become a very good side to wear the Haverhill colours. So going through my list....Jamie Nash, Lee Roseblade, Aaron White, Alex Wong, Nick Ager, Kevin Carr, Grant Deeks, Luke Dore, Nick Fairchild, Bradley Gibson,Ben Jackson, Michael Lansdowne, Toby Lessells on the injured list we have Gavin Hope, Keiron Mc, there is also a long list of other players that we all know who they are so please make contact with us so we know that you are OK and we NEED YOU NOW to HELP US MOVE FORWARD AND BECOME THAT FORCE IN SUFFOLK THAT I KNOW YOU CAN BECOME AFTER LAST YEARS PERFORMANCES. SO PLEASE GET UP THE CLUB AND BRING SOMEONE ELSE WITH YOU BECAUSE THINGS ARE ON THE MOVE.
Once again in anticipation of a reply and your magical appearances Tony

Training was very good last night, some fitness along with some good contact work. But there was still not enough players to field a full side and I think only 5 backs! Surely we can scrape together more than that, show a bit of commitment and come up next Tuesday, it's only 2 hours. Non-playing members have been putting lots of effort in for this season, so why don't some of the players put a bit of effort in too. It makes training a lot better for everyone, coaches, ourselves and our mates who we fight, battle and win with during the season.

Walking was a bit of a challenge this morning. Like a Dalek, I was OK until I got to the stairs. I bumped into Ratty this afternoon who was having a similar problem, just much bigger.
I thought training was excellent last night with some good constructive work. There seemed to be a real buzz amongst the players who showed up (and it wasn't the blood swanning insects for a change). A oppsInearlyswore good session.
We need more bodies to start work on the technical aspects, it is very hard to work on game situations with only 6 or 7 people per side. If you are reading this and not back training yet, bring your boots and come along, please.
At he moment we have the luxury of long evenings allowing us to use the whole pitch. I think we need to make the most of this while we can.
